Windrush Foundation promotes good community relations

Nov 26, 2012 | News | 0 comments

WINDRUSH FOUNDATION promotes good community relations, endeavoring to eliminate discrimination on the grounds of race, encouraging equality of opportunity for all, organizing information and empowerment programmes especially for members of BME communities; making the public aware of the contribution of African and Caribbean settlers and their descendants who contribute to Britain’s prosperity and heritage.

We work with community groups, holding conferences, seminars, workshops, social and culturally inclusive events to which any member of the public is welcome. The programmes usually includes lectures, conferences, discussions, poetry, music, dance and presentations on African, Caribbean and British history and heritage.
